1. What caused you to surrender your child?
Answer: The threats and stress my family put upon me and my boyfriend during pregnancy. My boyfriend not telling his parents and feeling helpless lost and confused.
What options were available to me?
ANSWER: NONE! As soon as I was in the hospital I immediately went into labor therefore my mother took over everything. I have no clue what she told the doctor, nurses or anything.
What kind of pressure were you under?
ANSWER: My boyfriend and I were under a great deal of pressure from the hospital staff, my family and adoptive parents,LAWYER and ADOPTION AGENCY.

2.How has losing your child affected your life?
ANSWER:LOSING MY CHILD HAS HAD A HUGE AFFECT ON ME, AND MY RELATIONSHIPS WITH MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND MY BOYFRIEND AS WELL. WE BOTH BECAME SEVERELY DEPRESSED AND REACHED OUT TO HIS FAMILY. WE NEED HELP AND ALL WE KEEP GETTING IS HELPLESSNESS, IGNORANCE AND DISCOURAGEMENT!

3.Have you reunited with your child?
ANSWER: NO! WE HAVE NOT. THE ADOPTIVE PARENTS HAVE BEEN VERY HURTFUL ABOUT US NOT EVER MEETING HIM AND JUDGING MY BOYFRIEND, HIS FAMILY AND ME ABOUT OUR RELIGION, PERSONAL LIFE AND ME BEING ABLE TO BECOME A MOTHER.

4.What changes would you like to see in the adoption system?
ANSWER: Honestly, the whole adoption system needs a makeover First of all, birthparents should always have their rights no matter what, and adoptive parents and adoptive agencies should be bonded as "close friends" because it is not fair. Much, much, much more needs to be done!

5.The experience of losing my child was the most difficult thing I have ever faced. My boyfriend and I have been struggling to get him back and just need our story exposed, exposed to the right people. HELP!!
